There are over 200 types of biases. This course will cover how bias unconsciously affects our everyday decision-making. Without covering too much, there are endless ways bias can leave an impact based on the social categories an individual can identify with, whether it be gender, race, religion, disability, or other.

In this course, we will cover the basic building blocks in order to understand 'Microaggressions' and 'Intersectionality'.

Microaggressions often appear during instances of unconscious and implicit bias. How we recognize and address microaggressions will be covered in a later course. Intersectionality often goes hand in hand with Microaggressions.
